Ecstatic Dance with Rachael is in the safe and private location of her own backyard in Adrian, MI.
Ecstatic dance is open to all shapes and sizes, genders, races & backgrounds. You will feel liberated and accepted as we all come together in fearlessness and courage to be ourselves as we move. Inviting all into this sacred space to join me in this empowering & freeing experience!
No experience is needed. Free-form dance is a practice that has been done all around the world and is a form of meditation as it reminds one’s self to be present in the moment. There’s no need for words because ecstatic dance is about getting out of your mind and into your body as you abandon yourself to the rhythm. There’s no need to push yourself, this is about listening to your body and connecting to Spirit which can be empowering and awakening for many.
Ecstatic dance is practiced barefoot to an array of an electronic tapestry of soul-stirring rhythms. I specifically listen to spirit when choosing the playlists to help you move. The music can be exciting, shamanistic, tribal, electronic, soulful, and with all collectives mixed in throughout the night.
Come as you are, come alone, or bring friends & family! This is a deep container to fully express yourselves and let it all go! Your connection and creativity are always welcome here.
I am asking for a suggested donation of $8-12.00 to cover the small costs and expenses of using space, time, and energy put into facilitating such events. This can be paid prior to the event right here!

*There’s no reservation required, although an RSVP is much appreciated!
*All are welcome. Kids are welcome with the supervision of an adult/parent/guardian.
*Leave their electronics at home.
*It’s important to respect the sacredness of the container as this is a non-verbal dance space. *Respect the space and the people there.
*No shoes are required
*Please keep the dance area clear of shoes, clothing, and other items, food and drinks, photos, videos, and scents. Keep valuables at home and make sure to dress comfortably as if you were to go work out or do a yoga class.
*I ask if you have recently been sick or feel at all under the weather, please skip out and come another time. There will be plenty of times for you to make it out!
